Winter holidays in the Schladming–Dachstein region

In winter, the Schladming–Dachstein World Championship region offers a winter wonderland for all sports enthusiasts. The ski area features 81 modern cable cars and chairlifts, 230 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes and 100 rustic ski huts. Ski touring enthusiasts also have a choice of eight routes in the ski area to reach the Dachstein Glacier. In addition, the ski schools offer guided ski tours. Every Friday, night skiing takes place at the Riesneralm – a highlight of any skiing holiday. As well as skiing and snowboarding routes, the Schladming–Dachstein region also offers winter activities away from the slopes. When cross-country skiing, you can enjoy the beautiful winter landscape and ski on the perfectly groomed trails using either the classic or skating style. The Ramsau am Dachstein Cross-Country World Championships Stadium is just a 15-minute drive from the Bärenwirt. Cross-country skiing equipment can be hired free of charge directly at the hotel.
